HOW TO INSTALL ACOUSTIC FELT SHEETS

Our felt sheets are versatile and adaptable to many uses. Apply to your chosen surface with a suitable construction adhesive or other mechanical fastener.

If you are placing onto a wall we would recommend using grab adhesive or 3.5mm x 35mm black screws.

If the felt sheet is to be attached to a wooden surface, it is also possible to use round wire nails or heavy duty staples and a nail gun, depending on the preferred appearance.

Always ensure the correct PPE is worn at all times when installing.

      Frequently Asked Questions

How much sound do the felt sheets absorb?

Our felt sheets are manufactured for acoustical purposes and have a Class-A sound absorption level.

Can the felt sheets be cut down?

Absolutely. Simply use a safety knife to cut to your desired shape and size.

Are the felt sheets safe for homes and commercial spaces?

Of course. The 100% polyester fibre (made from at least 50% recycled plastic bottles) does not contain formaldehyde binders making it free from chemical irritants.

      Can I recycle any off-cuts?

Yes! The felt sheets are 100% recyclable. We first recommend repurposing any off-cuts in other design projects to aid acoustics and insulation. Alternatively use as wall protection behind frames and art pieces, or as a packaging solution for fragile parcels. If you wish to recycle your off-cuts, you can place these in your home plastic recycling bin.
