Add natural texture to neutral schemes with SlatWall Washed Oak panelling. This style is perfect for Scandi-style interiors; its minimalist design and soft tones promote a calm, uplifting ambience.

Available in two heights – 2.4m and 3m – these panels are expertly crafted by us in the UK. We fully bond the slats to recycled felt, providing excellent stability that allows for cutting at any angle, making it easier to install around fixtures like door frames and plug sockets. Plus, the linear arrangement and dense backing help to reduce sound reverberation, improving your room's acoustics.

Made from MDF and oak wood veneer, the slats are also coated with a protective oil. This nourishing treatment gives them a decorative, sun-bleached appearance and a subtle sheen while emphasising the natural grain pattern. We recommend choosing the felt shade based on your desired finish; grey offers an understated look, while black provides a high-contrast appearance.

Installation

Easy to install semi-rigid and lightweight panels. Bond directly to wall with Grab Adhesive or use 35mm x 3.5mm screws to fix directly through the felt backing. Cut panels to size across the width using a fine-toothed handsaw or slice felt vertically with a sharp utility knife.

How do I cut SlatWall panels?

You can cut SlatWall panels with a fine-toothed hand saw or power tools. If using the latter, remember to use the correct and suitable cutting blade to create a crisp cut line. We recommend performing a test cut first, if possible.

Can I install SlatWall panels in wet areas?

We recommend installing SlatWall panels in dry areas with low humidity and no water contact. For areas with high humidity or direct water contact, use our SlatWall Waterproof panels instead.

Can I paint, stain or oil SlatWall panels?

Yes, absolutely. Alternatively, we offer a range of pre-oiled shades, including oiled Natural Oak, Washed Oak and Deep Walnut.

How many SlatWall panels do I need?

Measure the height and width of your chosen space in metres, then multiply these values together. If you're installing 2.4m panels, divide your total by 1.44. If you are installing 3m panels, divide your total by 1.8. Round this number up to calculate how many panels you'll need.

Can Slatwall be fitted around or behind radiators?

Yes, SlatWall is suitable for installation around radiators. The adhesive bonding we use to attach the slats to the felt is fully cured and heat-resistant up to 150°C, which is much lower than the temperature produced by most radiators. However, we recommend keeping the wood veneer away from direct contact with radiators to maintain its beautiful finish.
