CREATE SHADOWING AND DEPTH

Contemporary natural oak slats add extra depth and shadowing as they sit proudly on black backing slats and black felt backing. Easy to install panels with added contrast and character to enhance all kinds of interior spaces.

The gap between each slat is 13mm. All panels will have natural characteristics and slight colour variation.

Please note: if you're extending an existing SlatWall purchased before November 2022, we recommend purchasing a new sample to check the colour. We always seek to source the best materials for our panels and slats. As a result, you may notice some shade variation in the wood veneer. There will also be a slight difference in the shade of our grey felt. Please contact our customer service team if you need advice with colour matching.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size are SlatWall panels?

Each panel measures 600 x 2400mm or 3000mm

How do I install SlatWall panels?

Simply apply our Hybrid Grab Adhesive to the back of each panel and apply pressure to adhere it to the wall. Alternatively, fix it to the wall using screws in a coordinating colour with the felt backing. See our fitting guide for more information.

How do I cut SlatWall panels?

We recommend cutting SlatWall panels with a fine-toothed hand saw instead of power tools. You can also use a sharp utility knife to cut the felt backing.

Can I paint, stain or oil SlatWall panels?

Yes, absolutely. Alternatively, we offer a range of pre-oiled shades, including Oiled Oak, Washed Oak and Deep Walnut.

How many SlatWall panels do I need?

Measure the height and width of your chosen space in metres, then multiply these values together. If you're installing 2.4m panels, divide your total by 1.44. If you are installing 3m panels, divide your total by 1.8. Round this number up to calculate how many panels you'll need.

Can I install SlatWall panels on top of wallpaper?

Yes, by using screws through the wallpaper and into the wall.

Can I install SlatWall panels near a radiator, cooker or fireplace?

SlatWall panels may be installed near, but not in direct contact with, heat sources. We recommend installing SlatWall panels at least 45cm away from the heat source. See our fitting guide for more information.

Can I install SlatWall panels in wet areas?

We recommend installing SlatWall panels in dry areas with low humidity and no water contact. For areas with high humidity or direct water contact, use our SlatWall Waterproof panels instead.

How do I clean SlatWall panels?

Hoover with a soft brush nozzle and wipe with a damp cloth. We recommend keeping abrasive cleaners and chemicals away from your panels.

Can I install SlatWall panels on the ceiling?

Yes, you can. Simply apply our Hybrid Grab Adhesive to the back of each panel and apply pressure to adhere. Alternatively, use screws, ensuring they are fixed to structural points such as joists. See our fitting guide for more information.

To Oil or Not to Oil?
We provide the choice of oiled or unfinished slats so you can pick your favourite finish based on the requirements of your project. When left untreated, the slats boast softer shades and a matte appearance, while the oiled finish provides a richer colour and slight sheen. We recommend picking the 'unfinished' option if you wish to paint or stain the slats a specific colour.
Soundproof Your Room
Whether you want to soundproof a specific wall or a whole room, you can achieve the optimal effect by installing your panels on wood battens with mineral wool between each batten. This will result in maximum (Class A) sound absorption, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your desired ambience.
Your Vision in Veneer
Quality and longevity underpin everything we do, so we use materials that support enduring design. That's why these slats feature oak wood veneer on the front-facing surface. Each veneer sheet is as unique as the tree it comes from and showcases the wood's natural tones and grain pattern.
Discover The Dark Side
These slats feature a black MDF core, which provides extra shadowing to enhance the dimensional depth of your wall panelling. It also draws attention to the wood veneer by defining the linear profile, the wood's striking shades and the natural elegance of the grain patterning.
