How does Naturewall's room visualiser tool work?

Our slatted wall panels are designed to create maximum impact with minimal effort. We believe your interior transformation should be as effortless and easy as possible. So, there are three simple and straightforward ways to use our wall panelling visualiser.

A woman takes a photo on a mobile phone of a blank wall for Naturewall's visualiser tool.

    1. Take a new photo of your room

If you're using a phone or tablet, open the tool, choose the 'Take a Photo' option, photograph your room and then upload the picture. For the best results, we recommend removing any clutter from the space beforehand.

    2. Upload an existing photo of your room

If you already have a photo of your chosen area, you can upload it. Open the tool, click on 'Browse For My Photo' if you're on a desktop or 'Load From My Photo Library' if you're on a mobile or tablet, select your photo and then upload it.

    3. Choose a sample room

If you haven't yet decided which room to install SlatWall, you can try out different spaces with our sample interiors. This option is perfect if you're still in the 'seeking inspiration' stage of your project or decorating multiple rooms and want to explore various possibilities.

Once you have a picture to experiment with, you can play around with different styles from our SlatWall collection. Click or tap on the 'Products' tab, select a SlatWall shade and follow the on-screen instructions to see the wall in your chosen space. Repeat this step as many times as you wish.

    Turn your render into reality

We believe that each stage of your project should be simple and straightforward. Our visualiser tool has a couple of handy features to make the process as smooth as possible. Follow the steps below to make your dream wall happen.

    1. Save your visualised interior

Make sure you have a picture for future reference by saving your design. You can download it to your device or store it online for later. We recommend doing this so you always have a rendering to refer to and to share your ideas with others – it serves as a great reference point for any professional tradespeople you may be working with.

    2. Go to the SlatWall product page

In the tool, click or tap on the 'Product Details' button to be taken to your selected product on naturewall.com. You'll find all the finer details, from dimensions and technical specifications to installation steps. What's more, you'll see how our in-house design experts have styled the panels with furniture and accessories. Our product pages also spotlight customer reviews, so you can take their word for how easy SlatWall is to work with.

    3. Order SlatWall samples

We recommend ordering samples to confirm your choice of colour, finish and felt shade before purchasing full-size panels. This allows you to see what your SlatWall selection looks like in the room's lighting and check it aligns with your desired aesthetic. SlatWall samples also give you a feel for the materials and their texture, so you can be confident you're making the right decision for your project.

    4. Style your SlatWall sample

If you're designing a room from scratch or doing a complete redecoration, styling your sample is a great way to establish the appearance and vibe you're aiming for. Create a tactile mood board by putting your sample together with colour and fabric swatches. We also recommend including any other materials, hardware or finishes you're considering using. This will give you a good idea of how all the elements complement each other before finalising your design.

    5. Buy full-size SlatWall panels

Once your plan is complete, it's time to realise your dream interior. Using the details on the product page, calculate your required coverage to determine how many panels you'll need. Then it's time for the best part – transforming your wall. For the step-by-step installation process, read our SlatWall fitting guide.
