Read on to learn all you need to know about this amazing new addition.

A modern choice for curved interiors

Curved details have been a popular part of many homes throughout the ages, none more so than today.

In recent months and years, curved fixtures and details have become increasingly popular in home design as people seek softer, more organic aesthetics that contrast with rigid, straight lines - afterall, as William Kent said, “nature abhors a straight line”.

From arching kitchen islands and rounded bathroom vanities to curvaceous staircases and archways, these elements create a sense of flow and harmony in the home. As a result, designers have come to appreciate how curves make rooms feel more inviting and dynamic, adding a sculptural quality that blends form with function. This trend reflects a broader shift toward comfort-centric and visually soothing environments in residential interiors.

While undeniably stylish, for a long time it’s been hard to add personality to such features and many of us have had to simply paint the sides. Today however, this all changes; with the Arborelle Flex collection, you can easily enrich the style of any curved surface using curved panelling.

How does Arborelle Flex work?

While it’s as beautiful as our classic Arborelle panels, this flexible wood-effect panel features a flexible backing, allowing it to fit perfectly to curved surfaces. The refined, consistent grain detailing of matte wood-effect surface not only looks beautiful, it's very easy to maintain too. The surface is wipeable meaning you can quickly bring it back to looking its best.

Whatsmore, there are three stylish profiles to choose from, including flexible fluted, flexible reeded and flexible slatted, meaning you don’t need to compromise on style to find the perfect finish for your decor.

Flexible by design

Arborelle Flexible Panels have been specially designed to wrap smoothly around both outward curves and circular surfaces, making them the ideal solution for adding texture and warmth to contemporary and classical interiors alike.

As a result, these panels create a seamless, flowing finish that enhances architectural features. Arborelle Flex Panels bond directly to properly prepared surfaces using a simple grab adhesive, allowing for a straightforward installation process with professional-looking results, without needing years of DIY experience.

Easy to cut and install

As we’ve said, Arborelle Flex panels are easy to install, but they can be cut to size with ease also. Armed with little more than a pencil, square tool, a fine-toothed hand saw and some hybrid grab adhesive, you can cut your panels to size to ensure the perfect finish.

Once you’ve planned your space and measured the panels to fit, simply mark a straight line on your panel using a square tool and pencil, cut the panel (horisantally) with the hand saw and if needed, lightly sand the surface. For cutting the flexible panels vertically, carefully use a sharp craft knife to slice down the lenth of the flexible backing.

To complete the process, whether the panel has been cut or not, gradually position the panel along the flat surface or curve, applying consistent pressure to achieve full adhesion. Download our Arborelle Flex fitting guidefor more information.

Arborelle vs Arborelle Flex

While equally stylish and eye-catching, the classic Arborelle wood wall and Arborelle Flex wood effect panels have been designed to meet different needs. We’ve created a quick reference table to highlight some of their different characteristics.

Flexibility of use

While we’ve focused mostly on the domestic applications of our new flexible wall panels, their use isn’t limited to the home. Whether you’re seeking to add charm to a curved receptionist desk, or a shop display, flexible wall panels offer equal appeal for almost any workplace.

The wipeable surface is suitable for higher-traffic environments, particularly in bars and  restaurants, and the engineered wood-effect finish ensures consistent, repeatable, pleasing results across larger installations. The result is a capable, versatile solution tailored to modern commercial interiors where both aesthetics and durability matter.

The Arborelle Flex collection opens up a new world of interior design possibilities, allowing you to bring warmth and texture to spaces that were previously difficult to enhance, and with thier durable and easy to maintain wipeable surface the panels stay looking their best even in high-traffic areas.

Whether at home or in a commercial setting, flexibility has never looked so refined.
