    Frequently Asked Questions

How many Dado Rails do I need?

Each Dado Rail is 2200mm long. If you're installing them horizontally as a top rail to Tongue and Groove Midi panels, measure the width of the wall where the top of your panels will be (in centimetres) and divide this by 220 to calculate the number of rails you'll need. Always round this number up.

How do I install Dado Rails?

Apply Hybrid Grab Adhesive along the back length of the Dado Rail, position it in place and apply pressure to adhere it to the wall. Please see our fitting guide for more information.

How do I cut Dado Rails?

We recommend cutting Dado Rails with a fine-toothed hand saw rather than power tools (i.e. a jigsaw or circular saw) as they may damage the trim and cause it to splinter.

Which trim style should I chose?

For a traditional look and feel, we recommend pairing Tongue and Groove Midi panels with the Decorative Dado Rail. For a more modern and simplistic look, we recommend pairing Tongue and Groove Midi panels with the MDF Top Trim.
