Description

TAKE YOUR WALL TO NEW HEIGHTS

SlatWall Half Height Walnut is perfect for adding depth and dimension to rooms. Designed and made in Yorkshire, this style is crafted from MDF, walnut veneer and recycled felt. Fully bonded to the backing with high-strength adhesive, the slats feature a dark core, which provides extra shadowing and complements the wood's natural tones and grain pattern.

As SlatWall Half Height has precision-cut edges, you can effortlessly achieve a flawless finish when you apply it as a half-wall design. Install it in hallways as a contemporary alternative to traditional wainscoting or in bedrooms to create a dimensional headboard. To upgrade your panelling, we suggest installing a coordinating Top Trim – this matching accessory has a chunky profile that will beautifully enhance your installation.

Quick and easy installation with new bonded design

Our SlatWall panels are designed for easier installation as the slats are fully bonded to the felt rather than stapled. This means no loose slats when cutting to size and panels that feel sturdier and more durable.

Oiled finish for enhanced durability and style

Our optional oiled finish protects the SlatWall against fading, adds a richer tone, and resists stains which is ideal for high-traffic spaces. Available in Oiled Oak and Oiled Walnut.

Quality craftsmanship in the UK

Our high-quality panels are proudly made in the UK, with no finger joints in the veneer and a hand finished touch to ensure lasting quality and a flawless finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cut SlatWall Midi panels?

You can cut SlatWall Midi panels with a fine-toothed hand saw or power tools. If using the latter, remember to use the correct and suitable cutting blade to create a crisp cut line. We recommend performing a test cut first, if possible.

Can I install SlatWall Midi panels in wet areas?

We recommend installing SlatWall Midi panels in dry areas with low humidity and no water contact. For areas with high humidity or direct water contact, use our SlatWall Waterproof panels instead.

Why is this Britain's best SlatWall?

It's Britain's best SlatWall because it's made with your feedback in mind. It's crafted at our UK workshop with premium materials and production processes, ensuring the highest level of quality that other suppliers simply can't match. While they import theirs, we craft, quality check and pack Britain's best SlatWall at our base in Beverley, East Yorkshire.

Can I paint, stain or oil SlatWall panels?

Yes, absolutely. Alternatively, we offer a range of pre-oiled shades, including oiled Natural Oak,Washed Oak and Deep Walnut.

How many SlatWall Midi panels do I need?

Each single SlatWall Midi panel covers 0.72m². Divide the total square meterage of your wall, by these values to calculate how many packs you need. Always round this number up. Check out our coverage calculator above or contact our customer service team for further guidance.

Can Slatwall Midi be fitted around or behind radiators?

Yes, SlatWall is suitable for installation around radiators. The adhesive bonding we use to attach the slats to the felt is fully cured and heat-resistant up to 150°C, which is much lower than the temperature produced by most radiators. However, we recommend keeping the wood veneer away from direct contact with radiators to maintain its beautiful finish.
